Stadsbrouwerij de Ridder (Maastricht)

A great place for great beers in Maastricht, Netherlands! Located next to the river, you should enjoy a nice pint and praise the lord that the Stadsbrouwerij Maastricht was re-opend some years ago!

For sure Maastricht is always worth going: The small town in the very south of the Netherlands is bustling with students and nice bars on every corner. Especially the right bank of the river, Wyck, has recently turned out to be a hotspot of nightlife and social activities. Right here you will find just another brilliant spot for beer-lovers, the Stadsbrouwerij Maastricht, formerly known as Brouwerij de Ridder. This great brewery was actually bough by the Heineken-Group and closed in 2002. But as small microbreweries are quite a thing those days, it was re-opend in 2018 as an independent, local brewpub. Good so! You can sit just next to the river Maas, enjoy vairous local brews (and some guest beers, too), have a full meal or a snacks only and watch the people passing by! The beer on tap should offer something for everyone (from traditional Dutch stytles to new creations) and some have actually won prices at local brewing competitions.
